  • Since there seems to be no love lost between you guys and louisville I thought you might get a kick out of this. Found it while perusing there board( I was really bored ) ENJOY
    It starts out with "The only solution for conference expansion is:

    ...is to beat the bloody hell out of everyone who would even DARE line up against us. This starts with YOU, slapdicks! Don't want us to run up the score? Try and stop us! Our opponents need to walk through the pregame tunnel with their heads held down in fear of what it means to go up against 85 players with the word LOUISVILLE across their chest.

    The entire country needs to be put on notice. We are LOUISVILLE! We struck fear into our opponents at one time, and this season we will do so again! We will take NO prisoners! Even the biggest of skeptics will have no choice but to accept the fact that the University of Louisville will run over anything and everything that gets in our way!

    Blood, sweat, and tears are the only things that will be left on the field when the clock hits 0:00 in the 4th quarter! NO ONE will outwork this football team! Put your body on the line and sacrifice it all for LOUISVILLE! Knock the p!ss out of anyone and everyone who stands in the way!

    Make them regret the moment they didn't invite the University of Louisville. Make them ALL feel the pain. Make them ALL feel the wrath. Make them ALL feel the fear as their knees buckle.

    Holy Molie... you got to love the armchair sergeant. You know, the guy even more profound that the A.C. QB... who takes football to a life-or-death level of devotion.

    Don't get me wrong--I've got an unhealthy obsession with Mountaineer athletics. What I spend a year on football tickets would buy a solid fishing boat, and the amount of time, planning, and gadgetry we put into our tailgates is beyond insane. But to make a game out to be the end of the world is just a bit comical to me.

    Craziness, man... craziness.

  • Louisville started clicking last year after they fired their Offensive Coordinator. Bridgewater reminds me a lot of Bulger as far as being super consistent w/ his throws. U of L ended up losing their bowl game to an NC State team that many talking heads thought was playing the best ball in the ACC at the time.

    I know... the best ball in the ACC is a laughable phrase, but still...

    U of L has a reason to be excited... their 5 star QB is developing well, and the competition in their league got easier.

  • I understand your confusion... but I'm a Mountaineer living in Louisville.

    Born and raised in WV... but squozen out of a Card fans birth canal. uhoh

    I'm glad we're in the Big XII, but sad because I won't have WVU visiting my back yard in football and basketball every other year. I met up w/ Gwinn briefly prior to the last WVU @ U of L game.

  • I wasn't going to beg to hang out on WVU's Scout board. Never had any moderator problems on U of L's Scout board... and only used the politics/community boards there. The sports boards were too hostile, and I can't help but get mad and correct folks who were out of line w/ their rhetoric.
