Don't know how this will work with the 27 month waiting period. We have to stay in the Big East for 2 more seasons after this one.

if WVU leaves that puts the conference at 5 members and by NCAA standards that is not a conference so there is no exit penalty. One more year of the BE then no more BE

Retaining AQ status makes the extra BE year palatable. We need time to improve anyway before playing better conference teams each week.
If this pans out of course. I hope so.
