Two missed keys, four Bob Huggins quotes and seven games this team will regret from this season.

  • You point out the 7 games where we just did not have the go to guy or the glue guy that could carry us down the stretch. How many games did Butler win for us in the last seconds for our final 4 team? No Butler in this group. We have had a great previous 9 years and this one was tuff to take. It's finally over....time to move forward.

  • On the final play, part deux – Our credo for as long as I’ve coached has always been get to the ball. It’s hard to win when you don’t get to the ball… and this group, for whatever reason, is the worst we have ever had at getting to the ball.

I think this goes to Basketball IQ which was non-existent this year. Knowing the game and where to be on the court are important and often overlooked. The final moments of last night were a synopsis of our year. Three Mountaineers were on the same side of the rim and left the other side wide open.

"Why the f--- did you pass to him? He hasn't made a shot since Moby Dick was a minnow!" Huggs yelling at Butler for passing to Smalligan

    totally agree

Kevin Jones, for example, wasn't the most physically talented guy in the world but it seemed like he was always in the right spot. That was not a coincidence, some guys just no how to play
