word is we just signed one. Question what ever happened to the kid we signed last April, Sam Richardson out of FL.?

the most hilarious part of this - in that article it says that he is committed to "the West Virginia University". Have we now earned "the" status like tOSU? LOL

I don't think he ever made it here, if I recall. Why? I have no idea.
I really wish we would have made an earlier push for that WV kid. He's good. We let one get away, and it was no ones fault but our own.

Kornbrath was Iowa all the way....quoted saying Iowa was his dream school.........never grew up a WVU fan.

Richardson was still at WVU as of last week, don't know about if he's on the team or not though.

This will relieve my biggest worry!
Thank God! At least we now have some options.
I was taught to honor and respect my elders. They are getting much harder to find these days.

I was taught to honor and respect my elders. They are getting much harder to find these days.

I've heard that, but then I've heard others say that wasn't true. I do know we never really tried until it was too late.

He actually wanted to go to WV but when we were recruiting him we originally did not offer him, which turned him off big time. Iowa came in and offered and he accepted. We later came back to him and offered but he was upset with us and would not switch. This information came from someone very close with the coaching staff at Bridgeport.

I heard the exact opposite from someone very close...Oh well, it's in the past.
The Lambert kid looks good...Good enough we offered him a scholly. The kid from NoVA can't hurt either....I just hope one of these guys can become a kickoff and touchback specialist.
