Great class.. also see marvin gross possibly playing outside LB rather than put his hand in the dirt

I thought that Howard was going to be the class of this group, now I think he'll play down with the weight he's put on and that spot goes to Golson...although Benton should be a stud. As a group I'm with you Chris...A+

Chris, I think you left out Jeremy Benjamin's name. You described him, though:)
The only other miss I can think of was Myles Nash, who ended up at Rutgers, I believe. Certainly not disappointed at all with our LB haul this year, though. Great story.

Chris,
Where do you think Howard excels the most?
In my opinion a 3-4 requires a few guys who can line up in the dirt if needed as well as mix it up with a Tight End across the middle. I know a lot of guys want to look at him as a DE and have him bulk up but, is he not a bigger matchup problem at 265 filling the middle of the field? I think he and Snow could be the missing pieces of a pass rush. They can play the run as well as eat a block on passing downs and allow some of the smaller guys to be free to roam off the edge.

My favorite spots to watch on a football team are OC, OG, NT and LBs. I'm giddy about seeing these LBs playing. I feel we have 8 solid LBs on this team now.

Late to the party, but just want to add my feelings as well, completely agree that this set of recruits with the experience our guys got last year, which probably played the best on the worse D ever, we are set at LB.

Excellent write up Chris. I love how you broke it down with each guy and then discussed about misses, guys that we passed on,etc...
Even agree with the grade you gave as i view it from a realistic perspective of expectations for WVU.
I would say this was our strongest recruiting for WVU in 2012-2013. We needed major help in this area and I felt we addressed it. Now these guys have to produce and some need to do it now.
