If it was any organization other than the NCAA, I would say uh oh.....but the consistency that they have shown over the years in doling out punishment....this may give Miami an exemption to
go back to 100+ scholarships. There is never any rhyme or reason in their decision making process

If the sanctions come down (they will), and the transfer allowances are put in place for freshmen and sophomores, are the coaches allowed to contact these kids...Or do the kids have to make the initial contact...Or can the coaches even speak to them?

Hasn't Miami been sanctioned before? If so, this could mean the death penalty to them.

I'd let them play the season, but wouldn't allow home attendees. The uniforms have no endorsing emblems allowed with only the written name of the university on the front. Post season bans, reduced scholarships, and all conf teams would forfeit revenue from Televised games with Miami for some period of time.

To this last point, out of conf teams could dump them, or Miami would pay for those games to the opponents. Conf teams are guilty by association.

Blackout games would work too.

No football this coming season. No bowls and probation for the length of time the cover-up lasted. Loose 8 schlorships for 12 years and no off campus recruiting for the same length of time. Plus some type of monetary reduction for the football program's revenues.

That is why the football program at Penn State should be given the death penalty.... Money! That monstrosity that is the Penn State football program needs to be broken and rebuilt from the ground up. Sandusky will spend the rest of his life in solitary confinement because if released to the general inmate population he would die and deservedly so. Even harden criminals punish a child molester with death. Paterno's empire needs to be put to death.

As far as Penn State is concerned all administrators that had anything to do with sports (yes, all sports) during that time period need to be fired and put on trial to determine if they are guilty or not.. The football team gets booted from the B1G... and given the death penalty. How many years? Well enough to destroy the football program financially and purge this disgust from the area.

MIami, the death penalty as well... all football coaches, AD, Shalala AND any one associated with the football program fired. While the death penalty is imposed they can bring in a whole new environment to the place.
