Barry Alvarez says the Big10 will not be scheduling FCS teams in the future and they will move to a 9 of 10 game conference schedule. It was interesting listening to him on Sirius and how strength of schedule will become an important component starting in 2014. He also talked about the trend towards declining attendance for those early games with people watching at pubs and home on their HDtvs.
As you know, we already have the 9 game conf schedule and we may see some better early games in the future. Could the Big12 be working with the SEC to assure some of these early games?
