I am really surprised by this. Kid seemed to have a good head on his shoulders. The drinking is not shocking. The decision to drive under the influence is. Not saying it's a huge deal, but he is potentially the future leader of this team, so I expected better from him.

Unfortunate but what a relief nobody was hurt. Ford can grow from his mistake. I believe Mountaineer Nation will forgive and allow him that chance. My hope is his mistake won't reflect poorly on the program or university...great kid by all accounts who came a long way to attend school. I want his family and players everywhere to see we take care of our own and demonstrate the best part of WVU is Once a Mountaineer, Always a Mountaineer.
