are the leading canidates to replace RG......anyone.....?
I imagine JaJuan Seider will be mentioned as a possibility.
Seider's name seems to pop up a lot. Question: Is he that good a recruiter or just a good prop 48 recruiter? I see where MooU lands several high ranked player, but they all seem to have baggage or are props.
Does anyone know why Seider left wvu for a division 1-aa school his final year? Was his situation similar to Mundy's, because he is an alumni of wvu and claims that to be his alma mater as well. I understand he did his graduate work as a GA at wvu, but I do not remember his specific case other than the fact that Holiday recruited him from belle glades in the mid 90's. I always thought he started his career at wvu, finished here, started as a GA, and then went to Marshal. I didn't realize he went to Florida A &M and was drafted by the chargers. Can anyone shed light on this? I'm sorry if this issue has already been touched on, but was just interested.
The former WRs coach at Auburn? Sounds like he's available but it's not exactly a WRs position? The guy has been coaching WRs for over a decade according to his Wiki. I'm sure someone like him could make the transition but he wouldn't exactly be a homerun for coaching running backs.
Is that just a pipe dream because of his recruiting and availability, Crew?
JuJuan left because he was sitting behind Bulger and wasn't going to get any playing and needed to go to a place where he could some exposure. He won the D-1AA Heisman down there.
Thanks Hoff..not tryin to stirrup any drama regarding his presence at wvu, I was just unaware of the "specifics" regarding his situation. I have always heard of his recruiting ability in Florida , even when he was only allowed to make calls from behind a desk as a graduate. However, Seems to be very skilled and in my mind a suitable/desirable pickup if Holgs desires his company.
I don't think so BigXIIBeast. I think he would be a great a hire for us. He also has great information to get the solid recruits to come to WVU. I don't know about him being a coach for the running backs position at WVU as you stated above, but I think it would work out though.
I was curious also, some places list WV as his school and others FL A&M.
Taylor might bring some baggage. Nashville sports talk was talking about him going back to UT before hiring RG but apparently he had some questionable recruiting tactics or something like that at Auburn.
You mean like in the other thread we already have on this topic? That Chris started? ;-)
You're not serious, are you? The man is a walking NCAA violation waiting to happen.
I would think that everybody in the world deserves a second chance wvu1980ae. Some don't like DickRod obviously. Y'all never know about Trooper Taylor he could turn put to be very good. Maybe we should give him a chance to see what he can do here.
No way I want that guy sullying my alma mater. He's a dirty recruiter that the NCAA just hasn't gotten enough evidence on to nail. He had top cover from Auburn, which has over a half century of experience at cheating - if he started doing his thing at WVU I figure we'd be on postseason ban and reduced scholarships within five years.
Second chance, sure. Taylor would be on his fourth or fifth. Has he ever been found guilty? Not to my knowledge. Neither was Michael Jackson, but I still wouldn't want my kids sleeping over at the Neverland Ranch.
