I know momma was rather pi**ed that our coaches have not been in contact with her till recently. I think we can sell the program to her with the in home visit and tell her, her son will be a star in this program and can still get to the NFL. I would give us a slight advantage 52/48.
I wish y'all the best in the final stretch, and in hopefully landing Boyd. Unfortunately if not for the sanctions, he would probably be a Nittany Lion. So if he's going to go anywhere else, I'd hope it would be WVU.
Here's to hoping we can schedule a home and home against each other after the sanctions are up
Feer, I know Chyst is good but he still prefers to run the ball first. Here's where I'd be concerned if I'm Boyd...who's going to be throwing me the ball? Does Pitt have a big time QB coming in? Because if they are relying on a QB that couldn't beat out Sunseri then they are in big trouble at the QB spot. I don't know if Ford Childress is going to be good or not but I trust Holgs evaluation of him and Dana has ALWAYS had QBs put up huge numbers.
Just saw that article where she said she was also miffed because we tried to sell her on the program and not on her son's education. She has quite a few...particularities...including ones related to her other son getting injured. This is not a winnable scenario for WVU with her.

The kid has given us a chance and listened to what our coaches have had to say. Made his official visit etc. I wish him luck where ever he goes. Hope it's us.
if the coaches do get the in house and can convince his mom, i think he can become a mountaineer. If not, then most likely sPitt. I do not think he will go to TN.
