Barry Alvarez says the Big10 will not be scheduling FCS teams in the future and they will move to a 9 of 10 game conference schedule. It was interesting listening to him on Sirius and how strength of schedule will become an important component starting in 2014. He also talked about the trend towards declining attendance for those early games with people watching at pubs and home on their HDtvs.
As you know, we already have the 9 game conf schedule and we may see some better early games in the future. Could the Big12 be working with the SEC to assure some of these early games?
well as we all know WVU has already set a date w/ Bama ROLL THE TIDE!!
I will be there
Wish I could be
I'm hoping to maybe snag some tickets to the Texas game if I can or TTU
I heard something the other day on the radio about the Big 12 and SEC scheduling games in the near future.
What would the SEC do if THEY couldn't schedule FCS teams.
I was taught to honor and respect my elders. They are getting much harder to find these days.
Me too, brother in law is Bama so family feud has already started. We will be playing the 2013-14 National Champions, and they will be due for an upset.
