I heard Karl Joseph got arrested for DUI and possession of Isaiah Bruce's License. I also heard Travis Bell got arrested for beating up his baby's momma. Can anyone confirm this.
If true, Bell is a real loser and needs to be kicked off the team and thrown in the pokey.
I'm not sure about Joseph, but he should probably be dismissed as well.
I don't want to have a team full of thugs, we are not Pitt or Tennessee.
I believe maybe a lot of community service and church would be better for developing these young men when the court system gets through with them.

What keeps me going. WVU Football and Alaskan Wild Salmon
I respect your opinion Rick, and I can be swayed either way with my opinion of Joseph.
However, beating women is a classic scumbag move. I woiuldn't want folks like that on the field representing the Mountaineers.
Agree if true
Think we need all the facts
Bump on the woman beater. I just don't think trying, convicting and sentencing is something we should be doing here. I'm going to defer to courts.
Yeah I dunno about Joseph being thrown off the team for a DUI. There are plenty of kids on every campus across the country that don't get thrown off their teams for a DUI. Its not like he injured somone or something worse. I know it doesn't make it ok but just sayin.
Some people think football is a matter of life or death, but it's far more important than that.
Childress obviously didn't get kicked off for a DUI. As far as Bell is concerned I say yes. Get his butt out of here
Montani Semper Liberi
Should Ford Childress have been thrown off the team? Would you label him a thug?
I hope the story about Bell is not true, but we should wait until all information comes out.
Joseph wont get anyworse than Ford if its true about Bell he is in a whole diff situation.
When dealing with a domestic situation its best to wait and get all the facts not allegations before making a judgement. Is it likely that TB assaulted his girlfriend yes, but it's also possible she was in a rage and came at him and he defended himself. Domestic situations can be an extremely volatile situation and in most cases the man is the immediate suspect. I'm not defending TB I'm just defending his right to innocence until proven guilty.
Problem is, we didn’t know what we were doing either. But when we didn’t know what we were doing, we were pretty good at it…..
I was referring more about Bell when I said thugs. I have no clue if Joseph is a punk, but Bell is a different story. If it is true about him beating his baby mama, then i don't think Dana can justify leaving him on the squad. it sets a standard that it is ok to act like a criminal.
Did you not see this same topic posted like an hour ago?
No I must have missed it. I think you'll survive.
Since you have been so kind to point out my huge gaffe, I noticed that the other topic was about only Joseph while this topic was about Bell as well

If someone is abusing another person it is a huge indication that this person needs help.
The "healthy" thing to do as a team is to get the person help.
Part of the reason they abuse others is because of the shame they carry.
Shame is not a good response to shame.
This doesn't make their actions defendable or "okay"; it's a clear sign/red-flag that this person needs help.
Perhaps the "good" that can come out of this situation, if true, is that the "bad" actions can lead him to heal what's so broken inside himself.
Putting a "thug" label on him, doesn't do much other than to confirm what he already believes about himself.
How can good come from a really terrible situation?
