Thought that it would be interesting to see how our BIG XII brothers did with their OCC schedules for the upcoming year. I was surprised to see that no other BIG XII school played more than one of it's three OCC games against a BCS opponent, if at all. Keep in mind that a one loss OK St. team came within a whisker of playing for a NC and surely would have if they didn't trip against Iowa St. So does a BIG XII school have to take a risk by adding a 2nd BCS opponent to an already killer conference schedule? By the look of these OCC schedules, I would say the consensus is no.
OK ST: Savanah St., AZ, LA-Lafayette
K ST: MIssouri ST., Miami, N. Tex St
Baylor: SMU, Sam Houston St., LA-Monroe
OK: UTEP, FL A&M, Notre Dame
TX: Wyoming, New Mex, Ole Miss
Iowa ST: Tulsa, Iowa, Western Ill
T Tech: Northwestern St (LA), Texas St, New Mex
KS: S Dakota St., Rice, Northern Ill
TCU: Grambling, VA, SMU
We may be playing a few more conference games by then, this might make perfect sense in a few months.
