  • a. Do you have new news on what is going on with Travis Bell? How does his future look as well?

    b. What is your assessment as far as the quarterback competition? Who do you think wins the battle for the starting quarterback position?

    c. I know that there are a lot of offers out there for quarterback for the '14 class. Who do you think is the #1, #2, or even #3 on our list? I myself would like to see Crest in the old gold and blue uniform, but if not him I would like to see Sean White, Kyle Allen, Zack Darlington, or Will Ulmer.

    a. No idea about Travis Bell

    b. The Spring competition is just heating up and it looks to be between Ford and Millard just as everyone expected. With Ford looking the part but Millard having more experience to this point.

    c. Crest is our #1. After that I'd have to guess (based on reading things here...including the Top Targets list which lays out our targets according to 247Sports) Kyle Allen who is already having a nice Spring, and then Zack Darlington.

  • Will Ulmer is a great kid. I think Ohio State is leading. Oregon offered as QB. WVU is recruiting him as DB. He runs a 4.3 and I would love to see him as a slot receiver for us. But he is committed to playing QB.

    Yep. I saw him at WVU camp and he is FAST. His tape is amazing. If this were Rich Rod's run-first, run-second offense, he would be the top man for the job. I figured WVU would be showing more interest as an athlete, though.
