West Virginia looks to continue their momentum on Saturday as they welcome Big12 co-leader Texas to Morgantown on Saturday night.
The Mountaineers (4-5, 2-4) picked up a big comeback win against TCU last week, and follow that by hosting Texas in a nationally-televised night game. Charles Sims, a Lone Star State native, has been looking forward to this game since he was a kid and hopes to continue his excellent senior season. West Virginia should have most everyone ready today, with Daryl Worley, Dontrill Hyman and Kevin White set to come back from injuries that slowed them during practice throughout the week.
The Longhorns (6-2, 5-0) had back-to-back embarrassing non-conference losses to BYU and Ole Miss, resulting in the firing of their Defensive Coordinator and turning up the heat on longtime head coach Mack Brown. At the time, Brown responded by saying his team could win the Big12 Conference. Most fans and media laughed at the notion, but Texas has reeled off five straight wins and sit tied atop the Big12 heading into this weekend.
Today's game will be televised on FOX at 7:00PM ET.
