WVU Picks up 4-Star PF

Four-star power forward Devin Williams has committed to West Virginia, his AAU basketball coach, Mike Duncan, told EerSports on Saturday evening.

The 93-rated prospect had visited Morgantown at the end of September, putting the Mountaineers solidly in the lead, ahead of fellow finalists Memphis and Ohio State.

After his official visit to West Virginia, the 6-foot-9, 225-pound forward took in official visits to Columbus and Memphis.

In the end, neither trip was enough to sway his decision.

Williams gives West Virginia four commitments in the 2013 class and the Top 100 prospect joins four-star Elijah Macon and three-stars Brandon Watkins and Nathan Adrian.

The Mountaineers are, assuming no attrition, finished recruiting for the 2013 class.
