Top JUCO RB Commits to WVU

Even though he just got back from an official visit to Oklahoma State, Butler (KS) C.C. running back Dreamius Smith has chosen to commit to West Virginia University.

"I will be taking my skills and my #2 (jersey number) to the "West Virginia Mountaineers," Smith said Monday night.

The 5-foot-10, 215 pound back is ranked as the No. 2 junior college back in the nation and received a three-star, 88-rating from 247Sports. He held offers from Oklahoma State, Boise State, Kansas State and more.

He'll look to be used as a bigger back in a similar style to Shawne Alston - something that was not present in this 2013 class.

Smith's pledge gives West Virginia 18 commits for this class and moves them up to No. 31 in the 247Composite Team Rankings.

Smith will have three years to play two and plans to graduate in December and enroll at WVU in January.
