Your morning look back, around the headlines and into the future.
On This Date:
- West Virginia has an all-time record of 10-4-2. The most recent - and likely most infamous - was the 2007 loss to USF. Ranked No. 5 in the nation, the Mountaineers traveled down to Tampa and promptly turned the ball six times and Pat White left the game in the second quarter. The final score was 21-13.
- In 2002, Brad "BJ" Byerson committed to West Virignia. He played in only 13 games as a freshman and opted to transfer out after the school year.
