- In 1971, former defensive back Tommy Orr was born. During his four years in Morgantown, Orr registered 136 tackles, 17 pass breakups and four interceptions. He may be more well-known though, as the guy who pushed Syracuse's Marvin Graves out of bounds, prompting the quarterback to spike the ball in his face and start a brawl that got multiple Mountaineers ejected, but not Graves.
