- In 1971, former defensive back Tommy Orr was born. During his four years in Morgantown, Orr registered 136 tackles, 17 pass breakups and four interceptions. He may be more well-known though, as the guy who pushed Syracuse's Marvin Graves out of bounds, prompting the quarterback to spike the ball in his face and start a brawl that got multiple Mountaineers ejected, but not Graves.

- Add McKinley (OH) defensive end Antoine Miles to the list of fall visitors. As of now, he has not set up an exact date but says he would like to do so for one of the first games of the year so he can make a decision by the end of September.
