- In 1987, former starting safety Quinton Andrews was born. The Florida native was a Freshman All-American and totaled 203 tackles, 12 pass break ups and seven interceptions in three seasons. However, before his senior year, he was asked to leave the team due to ongoing issues with both the coaching staff and the law.
- Slightly late love for Tyler Orlosky (2011) and Wes Tonkery (2009), who both committed on June 22nd.
