- The football team has an all-time record of 9-2. The most memorable is obviously the 1993 victory over Miami, 17-14. No. 9 West Virginia hosted the No. 4 Hurricanes in what turned out to be the biggest crowd in Morgantown history. - The basketball team has an all-time record of 2-1. The first victory came in 2004 when D'or Fischer led five Mountaineer players in double figures, scoring 24 points in an 82-70 victory over St. Peter's.
