Cajuste committed to WVU during his official visit.
On Sunday, West Virginia finished out their offensive line class when Miramar (FL) lineman Yodny Cajuste committed to the Mountaineers.
"The wait is over. I have officially committed to West Virginia University," the 6-foot-5, 265-pounder tweeted while still on his official visit in Morgantown.
The late-rising prospect was coached by new assistant coach Damon Cogdell, and previously held a "greyshirt" offer from the Mountaineers. During the visit, that was upgraded to a "full" offer and it was too much for Cajuste to pass up.
Cajuste was a virtual unknown in the college recruiting world just last month, but once he sent out his senior tape, colleges came calling from across the country. Florida, Oklahoma State, Syracuse and more offered in the last two weeks.
Still, it was connection with Cogdell - who convinced him to try out for the football team just last year - that helped secure his commitment for West Virginia.
His pledge pushes WVU past Mississippi State into 38th in the 247Sports Team Rankings. He received a three-star, 0.8506-rating in the 247Sports Composite as the nation's 69th-ranked offensive tackle.
