Irvin, Goode Invited to NFL Combine

Bruce Irvin

The National Football League has released their official invite list to this year's pre-draft combine. For the Mountaineers, seniors Bruce Irvin and Najee Goode have both been invited to participate.

Goode played in all 52 games during his time in Morgantown, registering 115 tackles over his final two years and earned First-Team All-Big East in 2011.

Joining Goode on the All Big East First Team was Bruce Irvin, who totaled 23 sacks and 30 tackles for loss - both amongst the leaders in West Virginia history, despite only two years of eligibility with the Mountaineers.

Surprisingly absent from the list were seniors Don Barclay and Keith Tandy. Both players were members of the All-Conference teams each of the last two seasons and both started forty games during their four year careers in Morgantown.
