In a flurry of news, three-star safety Malik Greaves gives West Virginia their fourth commitment of the weekend.
"The (head coach) just called me and let me know that (Malik) committed," texted Adam Geis, head coach at Sandalwood (FL).
The 6-foot-3, 200-pound prospect was in town on an official visit after decommitting from Vanderbilt earlier this fall. He had listed West Virginia and Virginia as his top two schools, but had no plans to visit the Cavaliers or any other schools - prompting speculation that he would commit this weekend.
On Sunday, the three-star, 84-rated recruit made those assumptions true.
The 73rd best safety in the country had double digit offers, but chose the Mountaineers over Virginia, Auburn, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt and more.
West Virginia now has 20 commitments in the Class of 2013 and has moved up to No. 29 in the Team Rankings according to the 247Composite.
