It's one thing for star high school players to play well in their prep games, but, on Friday night, several future Mountaineers flat out dominated the competition.

Running back DeShawn Coleman was a one man show for Hickory (PA), despite the Hornets' loss to Wilmington Area (PA), 35-28. The three-star back caught a screen pass and slipped past several defenders for a 63-yard score early in the game. He followed that up with a 56-yard touchdown run and finished it up with a 41-yard fumble return on defense.
Jacky Marcellus was suspended for the first quarter of last night's game for jumping into the stands last week, although video evidence showed he was playing peacemaker. He wasted no time once he got in the game, though, finishing with eight carries for 159 yards and two scores, plus two catches for 17 yards and one touchdown.
In the Mountain State, Spring Valley's (WV) Elijah Wellman put up his second monster game in a row, carrying the ball 15 times for 271 yards and two touchdowns. He also returned an interception 53 yards for a touchdown. He has over 500 yards rushing in his last two contests.
They weren't the only ones to have big nights, as other future Mountaineers had big nights, including one prospect who found the end zone three times himself.
