'Eers in the NFL - Week 5

Adam Jones, CIN – Jones had a tackle, a pass breakup and two punt returns for 25 yards in the Bengals 17-13 loss Sunday.

Bruce Irvin

Irvin now has 4.5 sacks through his first five NFL games.

Don Barclay, GB – Barclay suited up for the Packers as a backup tackle and extra blocker on extra point attempts.

Ryan Mundy, PIT – Mundy had six tackles for the Steelers and was credited with a couple bit hits in their victor over the Eagles. However, he was flagged for a helmet-to-helmet hit on one of them, giving Philadelphia a first down. They would score later that drive.

Will Johnson, PIT – Johnson laid several good lead blocks on Sunday from the fullback position, but did not record any official statistics during the game.

Bruce Irvin, SEA – Irvin picked up a pair of sacks of Cam Newton on Sunday. The second was a “strip sack” where Irvin forced a fumble on the final drive, sealing the victory for the Seahawks.

J.T. Thomas, CHI – Although he recorded no official statistics Sunday, Thomas was given a shout out from the announcers for a quarterback hurry in the Bears 41-3 victory.

Darius Reynaud, TEN – Reynaud did a little bit of everything Sunday, carrying the ball once for eight yards, catching a pass for 17 yards, returning two punts for 25 yards and two kicks for 61 yards. Despite his 111 all-purpose yards, Reynaud’s Titans were blown out, 30-7.

Corey McIntyre, BUF – McIntyre once again started at fullback and played special teams for the Bills, but did not record any official statistics.

Ellis Lankster, NYJ – Lankster received plenty of playing time in the secondary and while he only recorded one tackle, it was a big hit.
