'Eers in the NFL - Week 4

Don Barclay, GB – Barclay backed up at both tackle positions and played some special teams. He put forth a couple good blocks and received a shoutout for them from the Packers’ beat writer for Press-Gazette in Wisconsin. Green Bay won 28-27.

Keith Tandy, TB – Tandy was listed as inactive before the game.

Najee Goode, TB – Goode was listed as inactive before the game.

Owen Schmitt, OAK – Schmitt suited up for the Raiders but did not register any statistics during Oakland’s 37-6 loss to the Broncos.

Adam Jones, CIN – Jones started at corner for the Bengals and helped hold the Jaguars to 186 yards passing in a 27-10 win. He finished with two tackles and a pass deflection.

Corey McIntyre, BUF – McIntyre started at fullback and played special teams for the Bills, but recorded no official statistics in a 52-28 loss to New England.

Bruce Irvin, SEA – Irvin did not register any statistics on Sunday, but he was able to harass St. Louis’ Sam Bradford regularly. The Seahawks’ offense did not show up, though, and the Rams won, 19-13.

Ellis Lankster, NYJ – With Darrelle Revis out for the season, Lankster received a lot of playing time on Sunday. While the 49ers won going away, 34-0, the Jets secondary was far from the problem. QB Alex Smith was 12-of-21 for 143 yards passing and no touchdowns for San Francisco. Lankster finished the game with three tackles.

Darius Reynaud, TEN – Reynaud returned four kicks for 89 yards and three punts for nine yards. He did have one fumble, although it was caused by his teammate blocking his man into him while Reynaud tried to field the punt. Regardless, the Titans recovered it, although it did not help much in a 38-14 loss.

J.T. Thomas, CHI – Thomas suited up for the Bears, but did not record any statistics in the 34-18 victory.
