A look at former Mountaineers and how they fared during Week Seventeen of the NFL season.
Tavon Austin, STL - Austin was listed as inactive due to an ankle injury before the game. On the year, Austin had 40 catches for 418 yards and four touchdowns. He ran the ball nine times for 151 yards and a score. He also had 398 kickoff return yards (22.1 average) and 280 punt return yards with a score. In all, he had 1,247 all-purpose yards in his rookie season, despite missing three games.
Stedman Bailey, STL - Bailey had four catches for 33 yards, but the Rams fell to the Seahawks, 27-9. On the year, Bailey had 17 catches for 226 yards, and two runs for 33 yards and a score.
Geno Smith, NYJ - Smith completed 17-of-27 passes for 190 yards, and ran 10 times for 44 yards and a touchdown in a 20-7 victory over the Dolphins. On the year, Smith completed 247-of-443 attempts for 3,046 yards, 12 touchdowns and 21 interceptions. He also ran 72 times for 366 yards and six scores. He became only the fourth rookie quarterback in NFL history to throw for 3,000+ yards and rush for 300+ yards, joining Robert Griffin III, Russell Wilson and Cam Newton.
Adam Jones, CIN - Jones broke up two passes in the Bengals' 34-17 victory over the Ravens on Sunday. On the year, Jones had 56 tackles, a career-high 14 passes defended, three interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble. He also returned 11 punts for 88 yards.
Don Barclay, GB - Barclay started at tackle for the Packers in their division-clinching victory over the Bears on Sunday. On the year, Barclay started all fourteen games in which he played, missing two contests due to injury.
Najee Goode, PHI - Goode had two tackles (both solo) in the Eagles' division-clinching win over the Cowboys on Sunday night. On the year, Goode had 21 tackles, three passes defended and a sack.
JT Thomas, JAX - For the second week in a row, Thomas got the start for the Jaguars and set a career-high in tackles. This week, he finished with seven tackles (three solo), a tackle for loss and forced a fumble. On the year, Thomas had 23 tackles, a blocked kick and a safety, starting the final two games of the season.
Will Johnson, PIT - Johnson started at fullback and had one catch for nine yards in the Steelers' 20-7 win over the Browns on Sunday. On the year, Johnson caught eight passes for 41 yards and a touchdown. He also had seven tackles on special teams.
Terence Garvin, PIT - Garvin was listed as inactive before the game. Garvin played in 15 games, starting one, and had 11 tackles on the season.
Ellis Lankster, NYJ - Lankster had one tackle (a solo) in the Jets' 20-7 win over the Dolphins on Sunday. On the year, Lankster had 18 tackles.
Pat McAfee, IND - McAfee punted five times for 237 yards (a 47.4 average) with a long of 65 yards and three punts being pinned inside the 20-yard line. The Colts won, 30-10. On the year, McAfee punted 76 times for 3,499 yards (a 46.0 average) with a long of 65 yards and a career high 27 pinned inside the twenty yard line.
Keith Tandy, TB - Tandy had six tackles (all solo), but Tampa Bay fell to New Orleans, 42-17. On the year, Tandy had 40 tackles, three interceptions, and three passes defended. He started five games on the year, including the final two.
Chris Neild, WAS - Neild had a tackle for loss in the Redskins' loss to the Giants on Sunday. On the year, Neild played in eight games and had six tackles.
Ryan Mundy, NYG - Mundy had one tackle (a solo) in the Giants' 20-6 win over the Redskins on Sunday. On the year, Mundy had a career high 77 tackles, a sack, an interception and a pass defended.
Bruce Irvin, SEA - Irvin suited up for the Seahawks but had no official statistics in their 27-9 victory over the Rams. On the year, Irvin had a career-high 40 tackles, two sacks, two passes defended and an interception.
Darius Reynaud, NYJ - Reynaud was listed as inactive before the game on Sunday. On the year, Reynaud returned 18 kicks for 430 yards and 18 punts for 135 yards.
