
Tyler Urban (NE) – Urban made his way onto the field last night as the third string tight end, but, with the Patriots employing a two-tight end set (meaning Urban is 5th or 6th), he could struggle to make the team. He did not make any catches last night.
Keith Tandy (TB) – Tandy’s first action of the game was a tackle on a punt return, pinning New England inside their own 12 yard line. Three plays later, the Bucs picked off a Tom Brady a pass and walked in for a touchdown. He continued his impressive night, leading Tampa Bay with ten total tackles in a 30-28 win.
Najee Goode (TB) – Goode didn’t see quite the time that Tandy did, but the linebacker was able to register three tackles on the evening. He’s a sure thing to make Monday’s cut down to 75, but needs to continue to impress to make the 53-man roster on Friday.
Bruce Irvin (SEA) – Although he did not register a statistic in the official box score, Irvin was credited with hurrying the quarterback all night long in a 44-14 win for the Seahawks.
JT Thomas (CHI) – Thomas seems like a sure thing to make the Bears roster after getting in with the second team last night. He picked up three tackles on the evening.
Selvish Capers (NYG) – Capers got into the game late with the third team and could be struggling to make the first cut on Monday, much less the final cut down to 53 next Friday.
Steve Slaton (MIA) – Slaton struggled running the ball for the Dolphins, carrying three times for minus two yards. He did make two catches for 27 yards, but he is still in the danger zone in regards to making the cuts next week.
