Several of West Virginia's verbals for the 2013 class are making a strong push with their teams in the state playoffs.

Coleman continued to shine with 14 touches for 142 yards and two TDs.
DeShawn Coleman was a star again this weekend, as the prolific back ran the ball 13 times for 117 yards, caught one pass for 25 yards and scored twice. Early in the game, he caught a 25-yard pass for a touchdown and followed it up a little later with an 83-yard touchdown run. That was enough to lead his Hickory (PA) team to a 39-7 victory over Wilmington (PA), avenging their only loss of the season (a 28-35 defeat early in the year).
Hickory (PA) will now play Richland (PA) in the state quarterfinals next weekend.
Fellow running back Zaire Williams scored a three-yard touchdown in Timber Creek's (NJ) 34-7 victory over Triton (NJ). The game was part of the Thanksgiving slate of contests that all New Jersey teams play that have no effect on their playoff runs. The Chargers will play Shawnee (NJ) in the semifinals of their Group next week.
In a similar situation, Marcell Lazard and his Bloomfield (NJ) team fell to their rival, Montclair (NJ), 14-7, on Thanksgiving Day. They look to rebound quickly, though, because Bloomfield (NJ) takes on Union City (NJ) in the Group semifinals next weekend.
Marvin Gross and his Dunbar (MD) defense dominated again this past weekend, helping defeat Brunswick (MD), 40-8, in the state semifinals. The Poets now have nine shutouts and three one-score games in their 12 victories this season. Dunbar (MD) takes on New Town (MD) next weekend in the State Championship game.
After missing four games with an injury, Jacky Marcellus returned to action on Saturday, albeit briefly. In Immokalee's (FL) 30-12 win over East Lee (FL), Marcellus started at running back for the Indians, but was quickly sidelined with a "tweaked knee" and did not return.
Immokalee (FL) takes on Lake Wales (FL) in the Regional Final next weekend. No word yet on if Marcellus will play.
